Head of Finance

About the role

We are partnering with a respected regional property group that is expanding rapidly across Buckinghamshire. The Head of Finance will join the senior leadership team to steer financial strategy, ensure compliance, and support continued growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own financial governance, reporting, compliance and efficiency across the business.
• Act as Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) and lead all AML processes.
• Manage accounting standards, tax planning, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Identify financial, operational and strategic risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Build strong cross‑department relationships to embed financial strategies.
• Oversee debt collection, invoice processing, spend allocation, lettings accounts and landlord payments.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and provide analysis for future acquisitions.

Required profile

• Commercially minded finance leader with a broad skill set in strategic planning, operational finance and risk management.
• Strong communication and influencing abilities across all organisational levels.
• Experience in property, lettings or multi‑site SME environments is advantageous.
• Hands‑on, team‑focused approach with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, growing business.
• Forward‑thinking mindset that embraces innovation.
