Head of Finance, Procurement & Shared Services Transformation Consulting

About the role

This senior position leads the creation and growth of a Finance, Procurement and Shared Services transformation consulting practice within a large international technology and business services organisation. You will work directly with C‑suite executives and senior public‑sector leaders to design and deliver large‑scale transformation programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Define the vision, market positioning and commercial model for the new consulting practice.
• Build and maintain relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, Chief Procurement Officers, COOs and senior public‑sector stakeholders.
• Originate and convert sales opportunities, leading the full sales lifecycle from qualification to commercial negotiation.
• Lead public‑sector framework bids, competitive pitches and major transformation proposals.
• Drive growth of the practice through bid leadership, team recruitment and delivery of complex programmes.
• Bridge strategy and execution, ensuring transformation agendas are delivered at scale using AI, technology and operational capabilities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in consulting, preferably within finance, procurement or shared services transformation.
• Proven track record of building or leading a consulting practice or similar business unit.
• Strong C‑suite engagement skills with senior government and public‑sector leaders.
• Ability to manage large, multi‑disciplinary transformation programmes from inception to delivery.
• Leadership experience in bid management, commercial negotiation and team development.

• Salary of £110,000 per year plus a performance bonus (up to 40%).
