Head of Product

About the role

The commercially minded, entrepreneurial Head of Product leads end‑to‑end product strategy, innovation and lifecycle management across Avenir Collective's portfolio of beauty, personal care and lifestyle brands. Reporting to the Chief Brand Officer, this senior leader translates consumer insight and market opportunity into market‑leading product portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Own product strategy and innovation roadmap across the portfolio of beauty, personal care and lifestyle brands.
• Identify and assess new product, category and portfolio opportunities using consumer insight, market trends and commercial analysis.
• Lead portfolio prioritisation, develop business cases and allocate resources to high‑value projects.
• Manage end‑to‑end product lifecycle from ideation through launch, optimisation and retirement.
• Establish stage‑gate and governance processes to deliver products on time, within budget and meeting commercial objectives.
• Ensure product quality, regulatory compliance, testing, claims substantiation and labelling across all markets.
• Develop strategic supplier and manufacturing partnerships to support innovation and speed to market.
• Build and lead a high‑performing Product function, establishing scalable processes and integrating acquired brands.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading product or product development in beauty, personal care, consumer goods or related lifestyle categories.
• Track record of launching commercially successful products from concept to market.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, supplier management and quality standards in beauty and personal care.
• Experience building innovation pipelines and managing complex multi‑brand portfolios.
• Ability to develop commercial business cases, costing models and investment recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influence across cross‑functional teams and senior leadership.
• Passion for consumer insight, innovation and delivering sustainable commercial growth.

What we offer

• Salary £80,000‑£90,000 per year.
