Head of Property & Estates (UK-wide)

About the role

Oxfam GB is seeking a Head of Property & Estates to provide strategic leadership for its UK‑wide estate portfolio, which includes over 500 shops, offices and warehouses. You will shape and deliver the Property Strategy that supports Oxfam’s Retail Transformation, ensuring the estate is cost‑effective, compliant, sustainable and fit for purpose.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a long‑term Property Strategy aligned with organisational goals.
• Manage a budget of £30 million+ and oversee property performance across all sites.
• Lead a high‑performing, diverse estates team and drive inclusive workplace practices.
• Deliver major property projects, ensuring compliance and value for money.
• Build and maintain external partnerships and influence senior leadership on estate matters.

Required profile

• Strong strategic thinking and sound judgement with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Extensive experience leading multi‑site property or estates functions in complex organisations.
• Proven track record of managing large budgets and delivering value.
• Commitment to Oxfam’s mission and alignment with its feminist principles.
• Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
