Head of Sales – Financial Services

About the role

The Association is seeking a commercially driven Head of Sales to lead new member acquisition across wealth management, investment services and financial advice. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will shape and execute a targeted sales strategy, engaging senior decision‑makers and delivering long‑term membership growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new member opportunities within priority financial‑services segments.
• Build and maintain a high‑quality pipeline, ensuring consistent conversion and follow‑up.
• Engage CEOs, board members and other senior stakeholders to present compelling membership propositions.
• Collaborate with policy, events, learning, membership and communications teams to develop credible offers.
• Lead negotiations, craft competitive commercial proposals and support onboarding for new members.
• Contribute to long‑term retention and engagement strategies.

Required profile

• Significant experience securing new business or driving growth in financial services.
• Strong network across wealth management, investment services and financial advice.
• Proven ability to build and convert pipelines through relationship‑led, consultative selling.
• Confidence engaging senior executives and board‑level decision‑makers.
• Commercial acumen focused on long‑term value and income generation.
