Head of Supply Chain

About the role

We are partnering with a dynamic SME that values its people and is seeking an experienced Head of Supply Chain. The role is pivotal, offering the chance to shape end‑to‑end supply‑chain processes, lead a high‑performing team and work closely with sales, operations and finance in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, develop and motivate the supply‑chain team, creating a collaborative culture.
• Manage the full supply‑chain cycle – demand planning, forecasting, purchasing, inventory control and supplier performance.
• Produce accurate demand forecasts and align supply plans with business needs.
• Own CRM data quality, using Zoho CRM for reporting and supply‑chain activity tracking.
• Monitor KPIs, identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous optimisation.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve service issues proactively.
• Identify supply‑chain risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Make swift, commercially sound decisions under time pressure.

Required profile

• Proven senior experience in a Head of Supply Chain, Supply Chain Manager or equivalent role.
• Extensive background in demand planning, forecasting and end‑to‑end supply‑chain operations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

What we offer

• Competitive salary £60,000‑£70,000 per year, DOE.

• Hybrid working model – three days onsite in London (near Liverpool Station) and two days remote.
