Health & Safety Manager – South West

About the role

We are seeking a Health & Safety Manager for our South West region, based in Bristol. The role supports the Divisional SHE Director by implementing and supervising the company’s Safety, Health and Environmental policy to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, develop and implement SHE systems to maintain high standards, performance and compliance.
• Provide support and advice to the region and represent regional management in discussions with employees and external organisations on SHE matters.
• Support the development of health & safety management capability within the region by improving skills and knowledge of Miller personnel.
• Report on area performance and, together with area management, develop solutions for compliance and improvement.

Required profile

• Experience in a similar role, preferably within housebuilding or the wider construction sector.
• NEBOSH certification (or equivalent).
• Experience conducting audits, accident investigations and liaising with statutory bodies.
• Natural leadership qualities with integrity, drive and enthusiasm.
