Health Visitor – Children and Families Team

About the role

The Health Visitor position is based in Kilbirnie Health Centre within the Children and Families Health Team. You will work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary partners to improve children’s health outcomes across the Garnock Valley area.

Key responsibilities

• Provide health visiting services to children and families, promoting early development and wellbeing.
• Work as part of an integrated, multi‑disciplinary team to deliver coordinated care.
• Engage with families to support them in achieving a healthy start to life.
• Contribute to community health initiatives and whole‑system approaches.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to NHS policies and legislation.

Required profile

• Qualified Health Visitor registered with the appropriate professional body.
• Motivated and adaptable with a passion for improving children’s outcomes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with NHS and partner services.
• UK driving licence (essential).
