HGV Class 1 Driver – 4-Day Week in Automotive Logistics

About the role

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for a permanent position with a leading automotive logistics operation based in Bicester. The role offers a 4‑day working week, regular UK routes and modern equipment with no overnight stays.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles to deliver automotive components to manufacturing plants across the UK.
• Perform vehicle checks and ensure compliance with transport regulations.
• Complete 1–4 drops per shift, typically UK deliveries only.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and provide excellent customer service.
• Adhere to health and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Valid LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
• Valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC/DQC) and Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 12 months of Class 1 driving experience.
• Strong understanding of driver compliance and road transport legislation.
• Good numeracy, literacy and attention to detail.
