About the role
Berry Recruitment is hiring HGV Class 1 drivers for an ongoing contract with a national client. The position starts immediately and covers both day and night shifts across the East London area.
Key responsibilities
- Operate heavy goods vehicles safely on scheduled routes.
- Deliver goods to high‑profile clients and the general public.
- Maintain accurate journey logs and vehicle documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service during each delivery.
Required profile
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence with only minor points (e.g., speed violations).
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Professional attitude and ability to interact with customers daily.
Required skills
- Proficiency with navigation tools (e.g., maps).
