HGV Class 1 Driver – Immediate Start, £19-£22.5/hr

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver to join a leading logistics client in Severn Beach. The role involves a mix of store deliveries, trunking and collections on a long‑term, ongoing basis.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heavy goods vehicles (Class 1 / C+E) safely and efficiently.
• Perform a variety of contracts including store deliveries, trunking and collections.
• Adhere to scheduled shift patterns, including early mornings, evenings and weekend shifts.
• Complete a paid three‑day induction and pass a pre‑employment assessment.

Required profile

• Minimum three months recent experience on a Class 1 vehicle.
• Valid Class 1 / C+E licence with no more than six penalty points (no DD, DR, TT or IN endorsements).
• Valid Tachograph and CPC cards.
• Ability to start immediately and work on a PAYE basis.

Required skills

• Class 1 / C+E driving licence.
• Tachograph card.
• CPC card.

What we offer

• Dynamic PAYE rates: £19/hr weekdays, £20/hr Saturdays, £22/hr Sundays.
• Overtime at £22.50/hr after 48 hours per week.
• Guaranteed eight hours per day.
• Flexible shift patterns (5‑day, 4‑on‑4‑off, weekend only, etc.).
