HGV Class 1/2 Driver – Flexible Night Shifts

About the role

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 and Class 2 drivers for a client in the Aylesford area. The position offers flexible night‑shift hours across the week, with the possibility of progressing to a permanent role.

Key responsibilities

• Follow a pre‑planned rota and complete runs with 4‑5 stops, delivering or collecting palletised parcels.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and adhere to safe‑driving standards.
• Assist with loading and unloading using a tail lift and pump truck when required.
• Interact professionally with customers and represent the company positively.

Required profile

• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Licence with no more than six penalty points (minor offences only).
• Good understanding of Working Time Directive (WTD) legislation.
• Willingness to undertake a short driving assessment.
• Strong communication skills and a safety‑first mindset.
