HGV Class 2 & 7.5t Driver

About the role

We are seeking a qualified HGV Class 2 & 7.5t driver for a 12‑week temporary‑to‑permanent contract with an established logistics company in Chandler's Ford. The role involves delivering building products to sites and customer properties, working Monday to Thursday on 7.5t vehicles and Class 2 on Fridays.

Key responsibilities

• Operate company HGVs to deliver building materials to multiple sites each day.
• Complete 5‑10 drops per shift, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Load and unload goods manually, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Maintain vehicle logs using a digital tachograph.
• Participate in upskilling programmes if required to acquire additional licences.

Required profile

• Valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• HGV Class 2 C & C1 (7.5t) entitlements.
• Proven experience driving HGVs.
• Valid CPC and digital tachograph certification.
• Safety boots and high‑visibility clothing.

What we offer

• Salary £30,000‑£35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
