HGV Class 2 Dust Cart Driver – Full‑time Contractor

About the role
We are seeking reliable HGV Class 2 drivers to operate dust‑cart lorries for residential waste collection in Sittingbourne. This is a driver/loader position, meaning you may also be required to load the carts when no dedicated loaders are available.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a dust‑cart lorry on scheduled routes, collecting residential waste.
- Load and unload waste manually when required.
- Adhere to health and safety standards, wearing safety shoes and hi‑vis clothing.
- Complete a driving assessment and induction before starting work.
Required profile
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- No DR endorsements on the licence.
- Possession of a CPC card and a tachograph card.
- Ability to perform manual loading tasks.
- Availability for a Monday‑to‑Friday shift starting at 6 am (weekends optional).
Required skills
- HGV Class 2 driving competence.
- Knowledge of CPC and tachograph regulations.
