About the role
We are seeking HGV Class 2 Dust Cart Drivers for an ongoing assignment in Maidstone. The role involves operating a dustcart lorry to collect garden and household waste, with the possibility of progressing to a permanent position after a 12‑week temporary period.
Key responsibilities
- Drive a dustcart lorry to collect garden and household waste across assigned routes.
- Load waste manually when required, especially if additional loaders are unavailable.
- Adhere to all health, safety and traffic regulations during duties.
- Complete an induction and driving assessment before commencing work.
Required profile
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- No DR endorsements on the licence.
- Possession of a CPC card and tachograph card.
- Ability to perform manual loading tasks.
- Willingness to wear safety shoes and high‑visibility clothing.
Required skills
What we offer
- Pay rate of £18 per hour.
- Monday‑to‑Friday shifts starting between 05:30 am and 06:00 am.
- Potential for permanent employment after the initial 12‑week period.
