About the role
We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver to join a local authority waste collection contract in Bridgewater, Somerset. The position offers stable weekday work with early finishes and the possibility of becoming permanent after a 12‑week trial period.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a HGV Class 2 dustcart to collect residential waste and recycling.
- Load and unload refuse containers as required.
- Follow set routes across residential areas, ensuring timely collections.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any issues promptly.
Required profile
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence.
- Previous experience driving and loading a dustcart.
- Reliability and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work Monday‑Friday with optional weekend shifts.
