HGV Class 2 Tanker Driver

About the role

Our client, a leading wastewater solutions provider, is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Tanker Driver to join their team in Stonehouse. You will operate a rigid‑axle Class 2 tanker, travelling across Gloucestershire and surrounding counties to empty septic tanks, sewage treatment plants and pump stations.

Key responsibilities

• Safely drive a Class 2 rigid‑axle tanker to customer sites within a 1.5‑hour radius of the yard.
• Empty septic tanks, sewage treatment facilities and pump stations in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Coordinate with installation and service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Return the tanker to the yard each day and complete required paperwork and tachograph logs.

Required profile

• Valid Category C HGV licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Previous experience driving a tanker vehicle.
• Good communication and time‑management abilities.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including potential Saturday overtime.
