High Net-Worth Insurance Apprenticeship 2027

About the role

Howden's Private Clients team in Amersham is recruiting for a Level 3 Insurance apprenticeship in high net-worth motor and home insurance, starting in September 2027. You will join on a permanent role and complete an 18-month development programme, earning £23,000. The programme is based in the office at least 4-5 days a week, and you must live within commuting distance.

Key responsibilities

• Learn the foundations of high net-worth motor and home insurance and how an Account Handler supports clients.
• Build confidence speaking with clients and understanding their individual insurance needs.
• Help manage communications with insurers and underwriters to find suitable insurance solutions.
• Manage client enquiries and provide clear, accurate information.
• Learn how amendments to insurance policies and policy renewals are handled.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.

Required profile

• No insurance experience needed; training is provided.
• Confident communicator who builds rapport and delivers excellent service.
• Resilient in a fast-paced environment, organised and able to handle several tasks at once.
• Comfortable working with clients who may have high expectations.
• Full and unrestricted right to work in the UK, having lived permanently in the UK for the last 3 years.
• Grade C/4 in GCSE English and Maths.
• No qualification that significantly overlaps with the apprenticeship content.
