Highly Specialist Pharmacist – Infection & Immunity

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, dynamic pharmacist to join the Infection & Immunity team at Barts Health NHS Trust. You will work within a multidisciplinary team delivering high‑quality pharmacy services to GUM, sexual health, reproductive health and hepatitis C patients.
Key responsibilities
- Provide patient‑centred pharmacy services across HIV, sexual health and hepatitis C pathways.
- Lead projects, undertake service reviews and support service development.
- Act as site lead for Infection & Immunity at Newham Hospital and the Sir Lutfur Guttman Centre.
- Support the Lead Pharmacist in managing a multi‑site pharmacy team.
- Promote safe, cost‑effective medication use to optimise clinical outcomes.
Required profile
- Qualified pharmacist with experience in HIV or sexual health.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and research.
Required skills
- Clinical pharmacy expertise in infection and immunity.
- Knowledge of HIV, sexual health and hepatitis C management.
- Leadership and project management capabilities.
