Hotel Management Trainer / Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced hotel or reception manager to join KM Education Recruitment Ltd as a Hotel Management Trainer / Assessor. You will deliver hospitality apprenticeship standards across Levels 2 and 3, using a blended approach of remote learning and on‑site visits.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Level 2 and Level 3 Hospitality Apprenticeship standards covering Front of House, Reception, Reservations, Food & Beverage and Food Production.
• Provide training through a mix of remote sessions and workplace visits, adapting delivery to individual learner needs.
• Manage a caseload of learners, conduct progress reviews, coach and support their development.
• Maintain accurate learner records and complete all required administration.
• Meet quality and performance targets while ensuring compliance with apprenticeship standards.

Required profile

• Management experience in a hotel environment, preferably front‑of‑house or reception.
• Hands‑on operational experience across reception, housekeeping and food & beverage, including preparing fresh food.
• Level 2 qualification (or higher) in Hospitality (e.g., Food & Beverage, Reception, Housekeeping, Team Leading).
• Full UK driving licence, own vehicle and willingness to travel within Leeds, Sheffield and surrounding areas.

• Salary between £29,100 and £31,200 per year, dependent on qualifications.
