Housekeeper – Guest Services

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Housekeeper to join our close‑knit team at The Oystercatcher, a contemporary bar, restaurant and accommodation overlooking Polzeath Beach. You will ensure guests feel welcome and comfortable throughout their stay while maintaining immaculate rooms.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide a helpful, welcoming experience.
• Clean and tidy guest rooms to a high standard, ensuring all amenities are stocked.
• Support the front‑of‑house team by maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
• Follow health and safety procedures and report any maintenance issues.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about delivering a warm hospitality experience.
• Pride in keeping spaces clean and tidy.
• Team‑player who helps the front‑of‑house run smoothly.
• Willingness to learn on the job if you have no prior housekeeping experience.
