Housekeeper – NHS Surgical Ward

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Housekeeper to join our female surgical ward team. You will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff within an NHS Trust.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across wards and clinical areas.
• Follow NHS cleaning protocols to support infection prevention.
• Work closely with clinical teams to ensure patient areas are safe and comfortable.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure supplies are replenished.
• Assist with timely delivery of patient meals and attend to individual needs.
• Provide a friendly, reassuring presence for patients and families.
