Housing Manager – Retirement Living Scheme (Over‑55s) – Liverpool

About the role

You will lead a busy over‑55s Retirement Living scheme in Liverpool, ensuring residents enjoy a safe, independent, and community‑focused environment. Reporting to senior management, you will be the primary on‑site contact for housing matters.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day housing operations and landlord duties.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
• Provide practical housing advice and tenancy support to residents.
• Supervise a small on‑site team, ensuring professional and caring service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records and handle confidential information appropriately.

Required profile

• Strong background in housing management, tenancy support and maintenance coordination.
• Experience working with older or vulnerable residents.
• Standard DBS clearance.
• Knowledge of housing legislation and health & safety requirements.

Required skills

• Excellent administrative, organisational and communication abilities.

What we offer

• Weekly pay, £18‑£24 per hour depending on PAYE or Umbrella.
• Monday‑Friday, 9am‑5pm schedule with weekends covered by monitoring service.
• Three‑month fixed‑term contract with potential extension.
