About the role
We are looking for a proactive HR Advisor to provide generalist HR support across all sites. The role ensures alignment with company strategy, legal compliance and best practice while supporting employee relations, policy implementation and day‑to‑day HR operations.
Key responsibilities
- Support delivery of people strategy and HR KPIs such as absence, retention and turnover.
- Advise managers on HR policies, procedures and employment law.
- Manage employee‑relations cases, absence management and occupational health referrals.
- Maintain accurate and compliant HR systems and data.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training compliance.
- Promote diversity, employee engagement and well‑being initiatives.
- Collaborate on resource planning and community outreach activities.
- Participate in HR projects and cross‑site initiatives.
Required profile
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor or similar generalist role.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
- Good knowledge of employment legislation.
- Experience working with HR information systems.
- Organised, practical and solution‑focused approach.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) – desirable.
- HR experience in a manufacturing or food industry – desirable.
Required skills
- Experience with HR systems (HRIS).
