About the role

Cohere is a security‑first enterprise AI company looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to support its fast‑growing Tech organization. You will work closely with researchers, engineers and leaders, helping shape people strategy during a period of rapid expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Organizational design: help teams and structures evolve as we scale.
• Leadership: coach managers and strengthen leadership capability.
• Talent: drive performance, talent, and succession planning.
• Organizational health: support engagement, retention, and team effectiveness.
• People strategy: shape priorities and build new ways of working as we scale.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience as an HR Business Partner or People Partner.
• Experience partnering with engineering, research or other technical teams.
• Background in high‑growth environments such as startups or scale‑ups.
• Ability to support distributed, global teams.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Collaborative, low‑ego attitude focused on team success.
