HR Operations Manager – Fixed Term (Hybrid)

About the role

We are partnering with an international not‑for‑profit organisation to find an HR Operations Manager on a fixed‑term basis. The role will own HR operations across the employee lifecycle, providing first‑line support for US‑based and global employees while driving improvements to the employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for employee and manager queries, delivering a high‑quality HR service.
• Manage non‑complex employee relations matters and support HR Business Partners on escalated cases.
• Develop, review and implement HR policies and translate them into practical processes and workflows.
• Provide HR support for US‑based employees, ensuring compliance with US employment legislation.
• Oversee end‑to‑end HR operations including onboarding, benefits administration, employee lifecycle activities and off‑boarding.
• Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging HR systems to automate workflows and improve data integrity.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Finance and wider People teams to ensure seamless operational support.
• Create communications and training materials to support adoption of new processes and policies.

Required profile

• Proven HR Operations experience within a global or international organisation.
• Strong experience supporting US‑based employees and knowledge of US employment practices, benefits and compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to develop HR policies, procedures and operational frameworks.
• Track record of driving process improvements and implementing best‑practice HR operations.
• Excellent written communication and strong organisational skills.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., HiBob).

What we offer

• Fixed‑term contract until 31 December 2026 (covering maternity leave).
• Hybrid working arrangement based in London.
• Salary £65,000‑£75,000 per annum (pro‑rated).
