Human Resources Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, commercially‑minded Human Resources Manager to lead the UK HR function for a fast‑growing international consultancy. Reporting to a UK Partner with a dotted line to the Group HR team, you will own the full employee lifecycle for a team of around 80 staff and help shape culture, performance and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage onboarding and off‑boarding across the UK business.
• Support recruitment coordination and senior hire onboarding.
• Develop and improve HR processes such as probation reviews and exit interviews.
• Maintain employee records, contracts and HR data.
• Act as first point of contact for employees and managers on HR matters.
• Prepare payroll inputs, liaise with payroll providers and oversee benefits administration.
• Coordinate annual and mid‑year performance review cycles and support managers with feedback.
• Drive engagement, culture, mentoring and learning initiatives.
• Handle employee relations cases, ensure compliance with UK employment law and work with external legal advisers.
• Contribute to DEI and employee engagement projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a broad HR role within a professional services or consultancy environment.
• Commercial mindset with ability to partner with senior stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and project‑management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast‑growing, dynamic setting.
