About the role

Join a secondary school in West London as a Humanities Graduate Teaching Assistant. This full‑time, term‑time position starts in September 2026 and offers you the chance to gain hands‑on classroom experience while supporting students' academic and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide academic and pastoral support to all students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Encourage active engagement with learning and foster a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering high‑quality lessons and monitoring student progress.
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Required profile

• Degree‑level qualification in any Humanities subject.
• Previous experience supporting students in an educational setting, mentoring or tutoring.
• Enthusiastic, confident communicator with strong relationship‑building skills.
• Knowledge of supporting learners with SEN and learning difficulties.
• Reliable, proactive and dedicated to helping students achieve their potential.
