Hybrid SEP PIP Nurse – Functional Assessor

About the role

As a Nurse Functional Assessor you will use your clinical expertise to evaluate how a person’s disability or health condition impacts daily life. Working with complex physical, mental health and chronic pain cases, you will help customers move forward with tailored support.

Key responsibilities

• Assess customers’ health conditions and produce detailed reports.
• Work on multidisciplinary cases involving physical and mental health.
• Provide compassionate guidance to help individuals manage their conditions.
• Participate in a structured training programme and ongoing mentorship.

Required profile

• Valid NMC registration number.
• Minimum 1 year post‑registration experience in adult or mental health nursing.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computer software for reporting.
