Implementation Senior Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Implementation Senior Lead to join the specialist Implementation Team supporting NHS Shared Business Services. The role is hybrid, combining home‑working with travel to client sites and occasional overnight stays during key implementation phases.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end implementation activities for new and existing clients across A2R and EPM workstreams.
• Act as senior point of contact for clients, resolve escalations and provide expert guidance.
• Deliver process impact workshops, walkthroughs, training sessions and promote best‑practice adoption.
• Analyse and manipulate client data to support decision‑making, migration activities and reporting.
• Support project governance by managing risks, issues, milestones and stakeholder communications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, develop best‑practice toolkits and mentor junior Implementation Leads.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in A2R and EPM processes with knowledge of planning, budgeting, forecasting and Oracle Projects.
• Proven experience leading implementations in shared services or complex client environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships.
• Strong analytical capability, including advanced Excel and confidence working with data.
• Resilience, adaptability and the ability to work independently across multiple clients and priorities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for diverse and senior audiences.
