Finance Manager – SaaS Business (Leeds)

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established global SaaS company based in Leeds to find a Finance Manager. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will own the monthly management accounts process, support group reporting, and deliver insightful financial analysis to drive performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly management accounts process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Prepare monthly reporting packs with clear analysis and commentary.
• Support group reporting and consolidation requirements.
• Produce detailed variance analysis, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities.
• Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to provide financial insight.
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
• Prepare cash‑flow forecasts and monitor working capital.
• Assist with statutory accounts preparation and the year‑end audit.
• Help with revenue recognition and other accounting matters.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls and reporting.
• Drive automation and enhancements to reporting tools and finance systems.
• Support wider finance transformation and strategic projects.
• Provide guidance and support to junior finance team members.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• Prior people‑management or supervisory experience.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Proactive mindset with strong commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across the business.
• Experience in logistics, distribution, industrial or manufacturing environments.
