In‑house Tax Manager – Leeds (Hybrid)

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading international professional services firm as an In‑house Tax Manager within the UK Finance team. Based in Leeds with a hybrid working model, you will support both UK and international tax matters for a complex, growing business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare UK LLP tax returns, including income tax computations and corporation tax returns.
• Support the management of direct tax compliance across the UK group.
• Review and assess changes in UK and international tax legislation and advise on impact.
• Lead tax audits, liaising with HMRC and other relevant authorities.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns for UK entities.
• Manage PAYE Settlement Agreements and support payroll and benefits processes.
• Collaborate with international offices on global tax matters and reporting.
• Drive improvements in tax processes and compliance efficiency.
• Provide support and guidance to the wider finance team.

Required profile

• ATT qualified (or equivalent) with proven tax experience in a professional services environment.
• Strong understanding of UK and international tax legislation.
• Experience in both direct and indirect tax.
• Commercially aware with strong financial acumen.
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
