Insurance Premium Technician – Remote (Hybrid optional)

About the role

Velonetic is seeking an Insurance Premium Technician to join its growing team. The role is primarily remote with the option to work on‑site from Chatham or London on a hybrid basis. You will support the processing of premium transactions and ensure documentation meets strict quality and turnaround standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical checks on insurance documents to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Liaise with customers and brokers to resolve queries related to premium processing.
• Enter and update transaction details in the internal database.
• Generate accurate reports on processed work.
• Contribute to innovation and process‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Strong numeracy, verbal and literacy skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work to agreed service levels.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Positive attitude with a curiosity for continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Outlook.
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
