Intercompany Accountant – Finance Operations

About the role

The Intercompany Accountant will join ITV's Record to Report (RTR) Intercompany team within the Finance Operations hub. Working in a hybrid model (2‑3 days onsite per week), you will ensure that intercompany transactions across ITV’s global brands are accurately recorded, reconciled and aligned with group financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Process intercompany journals in Oracle Fusion, adhering to global policies and controls.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of intercompany balances and resolve variances using the ARCS tool.
• Act as the primary liaison between business units to investigate and correct discrepancies.
• Support strategic settlement of intercompany balances across the ITV Group.
• Maintain compliance with intercompany accounting policies and regional tax/VAT guidelines.
• Identify process bottlenecks and design automated solutions to reduce manual effort.
• Provide documentation for audit activities and participate in system testing.
• Champion continuous‑improvement initiatives within the RTR team.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience in intercompany accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Experience with accounting systems, preferably Oracle Fusion or a similar ERP.
