Interest Rate & Credit Derivatives Business Analyst – VP

About the role

Citi is looking for a senior Business Analyst to drive the design and delivery of fixed‑income and credit derivatives trade capture and processing solutions. You will work closely with traders, sales, and technology teams to translate complex business needs into robust, scalable systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead analysis and requirements gathering for OTC fixed‑income derivatives trade capture and processing.
• Collaborate with trading desks, middle office, risk, finance, and regulatory teams to define functional specifications.
• Translate requirements into user stories, manage the Jira backlog, and oversee the end‑to‑end delivery lifecycle.
• Coordinate design, construction, testing, and implementation phases, ensuring seamless integration with existing platforms.
• Provide user acceptance testing support and post‑implementation operational assistance.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of fixed‑income and derivative products from a front‑office perspective.
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale financial systems in a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on operational efficiency.

Required skills

• Jira for requirement tracking and workflow management.
