Interim Finance Analyst – 3‑Month Contract (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Interim Finance Analyst to join a purpose‑driven organisation for a three‑month assignment. The role focuses on optimising the newly implemented finance system, enhancing reporting, and supporting better business decisions through improved forecasting and analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Review, redesign and migrate existing Excel‑based management reports.
• Develop and enhance forecasting models, management reporting and financial statements.
• Utilise forecasting tools for scenario planning and financial analysis.
• Evaluate finance users’ interaction with the system and identify efficiency improvements.
• Document current processes and recommend enhancements to controls, reporting and workflows.
• Create and implement finance‑systems best‑practice guidance and standardised ways of working.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, reporting quality and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Experienced Finance Analyst, Systems Accountant, Financial Modeller or Finance Systems Specialist.
• Strong accounting knowledge combined with analytical and systems expertise.
• Ability to quickly assess processes, identify improvements and deliver practical solutions.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (modelling, complex formulas, lookups, pivots, large data manipulation).
• Familiarity with ERP and finance systems.
