Interim Finance Business Partner – Commercial Finance

About the role

We are seeking an interim Finance Business Partner to support senior leadership with commercial finance reporting, analysis, forecasting and strategic planning. This three‑month contract offers an immediate start and the chance to influence business performance through accurate financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Own the month‑end P&L reporting process, review results and deliver commercial insights.
• Manage month‑end financial processing, cost analysis and variance reporting.
• Produce management reports, forecast analysis and ad‑hoc financial analysis.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting, including monthly risks and opportunities.
• Support long‑term strategic planning through financial modelling and scenario analysis.
• Prepare and maintain balance‑sheet reconciliations, working with finance teams and external auditors.
• Contribute to finance projects, business cases, KPI reporting and cross‑functional initiatives.
• Present monthly financial performance to senior stakeholders.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CIMA or ACCA preferred) with at least 5 years of commercial finance experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Proactive, highly organised and deadline‑driven with a customer‑focused approach.
• Solid understanding of financial systems and processes.
