Interim FP&A Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Interim FP&A Lead to build and lead the finance planning function for a fast‑growing business consultancy in Leeds. The role will be pivotal in supporting M&A activity and delivering real‑time financial reporting to senior management and the board.

Key responsibilities

• Design and establish the FP&A function from the ground up, including processes, templates and timetables.
• Consolidate budgets and forecasts across multiple business lines at group level.
• Provide timely, accurate financial analysis and reporting for senior management and the board.
• Lead a small team, recruiting and developing staff as required.
• Support M&A initiatives by delivering financial insights and modelling.

Required profile

• Significant experience in FP&A, preferably within a group or multi‑business environment.
• Proven ability to build finance processes and reporting frameworks.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on delivering accurate results under tight deadlines.
• Eligibility to work in the UK without restriction.
