International Operations Officer

About the role

We are looking for an organised and detail‑oriented International Operations Officer to join the International Office at University College Birmingham. The role supports the delivery of international higher‑education services, ensuring smooth administration and compliance across our global partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the International Office, maintaining operational compliance in a sales‑driven environment.
• Coordinate the full lifecycle of agent appointments, including monitoring, renewals and terminations, while adhering to university policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate agent records and contracts, produce regular data returns and respond to agent enquiries.
• Process agent commissions in line with service level agreements and university financial procedures.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and analytical abilities.
• Experience in international operations, coordination or a similar administrative role within higher education.
• Understanding of compliance, contract management and data handling.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, sales‑oriented setting.
