About the role
Our client, a well‑established Lloyd's broking house, is expanding its International Casualty team. The successful candidate will act as a broker for International and Latin‑American (Latam) casualty business, placing risks across the Lloyd's and broader London market.
Key responsibilities
- Broker and place International/Latam casualty risks into Lloyd's and the London market.
- Manage new business and renewal placements from submission to completion.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and underwriters.
- Prepare and present submissions, negotiate coverage, terms, conditions and pricing.
- Handle mid‑term adjustments and ongoing client requirements.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to portfolio growth.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a broker within the Lloyd's market.
- Proven expertise in International and Latam casualty lines.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain underwriting relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen and client‑service focus.
