About the role
Our client is a successful lower‑mid‑market private equity fund that invests across debt and equity, partnering with UK management teams and founders. The Investment Associate will gain full‑cycle exposure, supporting due diligence, valuation and post‑acquisition activities.
Key responsibilities
- Play a key role alongside the senior investment team on deal execution, focusing on financial modelling and due diligence.
- Conduct market analysis for existing portfolio companies and new investment opportunities.
- Prepare investment models and files with significant responsibility.
- Build relationships with potential target companies.
- Work closely with portfolio companies on strategic and value‑creation initiatives.
Required profile
- Associate‑level experience in mid‑market investment banking or a private‑equity fund.
- Strong technical skills and critical thinking ability.
- Excellent work ethic and high personal agency.
- Ambitious, high‑performing candidate with a distinguished academic background.
- Affinity for the UK mid‑market sector.
