IT Helpdesk & Inventory Management Officer

About the role

ACE Money Transfer is seeking an organised IT Helpdesk & Inventory Management Officer to oversee the lifecycle of all IT assets, support the helpdesk team, and manage procurement processes. The role combines inventory control, audit coordination, and basic technical support within a fast‑growing financial services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all hardware, software, and licenses, updating the inventory within 24 hours of any change.
• Conduct scheduled physical and system audits, identify discrepancies, and support internal and external compliance reviews.
• Manage end‑to‑end procurement for IT equipment, liaise with vendors, negotiate pricing, and track purchase orders and budgets.
• Assist the IT helpdesk during peak periods, handling basic hardware, software, and access issues, and support joiner/mover/leaver provisioning.
• Keep documentation up‑to‑date and prepare periodic reports on asset status, audit results, and procurement activity for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT asset management, inventory control, procurement, or helpdesk support.
• Hands‑on experience maintaining hardware/software inventory records and conducting audits.
• Proven ability to coordinate with vendors, obtain quotations, and process purchase orders.
• Basic IT support knowledge (hardware troubleshooting, OS/software issues, user account basics).
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and asset management software is a plus.
