IT Operations Manager – Oxford

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing technology company in Oxford, is seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead the local IT function. You will own day‑to‑day operations, drive infrastructure projects and act as the primary liaison between the Oxford office and the global Corporate IT organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operation of the Oxford IT team, coordinating workload, priorities and resource planning.
• Serve as the main point of contact between the Oxford office and Global Corporate IT.
• Deliver and manage multiple IT infrastructure and technology projects simultaneously.
• Improve operational processes, documentation and service delivery.
• Monitor project risks, dependencies and technical priorities.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure Engineers, Corporate IT and business stakeholders.
• Define standards, governance and best practices across the IT function.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT operations management or technical project delivery.
• Background in infrastructure moving into senior IT management.
• Ability to provide technical leadership while staying close to day‑to‑day infrastructure work.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
