Junior Accountant – Finance Team (Wimbledon)

About the role
We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team at an established accountancy practice in Wimbledon. The role is fully office‑based and offers the chance to develop core accounting skills while supporting day‑to‑day financial operations.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with bookkeeping tasks.
- Process invoices, receipts and expense claims.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts.
- Reconcile bank statements and ledgers.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Help with VAT returns and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team.
Required profile
- Minimum six months experience in a finance or accounting function within an accountancy practice.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a busy office environment.
