Junior Business Analyst – Capital Markets (Brexit Programme)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Business Analyst to join a boutique consulting firm supporting a high‑profile Brexit‑related transformation programme within a leading investment bank. The role will be based in London with a hybrid working model and offers a day‑rate of £400.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements across the project lifecycle.
• Document business processes, workflows and operational impacts together with front‑office, middle‑office and technology teams.
• Perform gap analysis, process mapping and data analysis to support regulatory change.
• Coordinate deliverables with operations, trader support and technology stakeholders.
• Produce high‑quality project artefacts such as requirements specifications, meeting notes, action logs and status updates.
• Assist with testing, implementation and change‑management activities.
• Support project governance and stakeholder communications.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of business analysis experience within financial services.
• Background in capital markets operations, middle‑office, trade support or related banking functions.
• Strong analytical and documentation abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced project environments.

Required skills

• Business analysis techniques (requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis).
