Junior Clinical Fellow – Sexual Health (F3)

About the role

This 12‑month Fixed‑term Clinical Fellow (F3) position offers doctors a focused experience in integrated sexual health services in Bradford. The role provides a balanced workload with no on‑call commitments, allowing you to develop clinical expertise while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive sexual health care alongside genitourinary medicine consultants and contraception leads.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including HIV, gynaecology, public health, microbiology, dermatology, sexual assault, and adolescent medicine.
• Participate in audit, research and training activities with protected time allocated.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified medical doctor eligible for F3 training.
• Interest in specialties such as GUM, CSRH, GPST, O&G, Dermatology, Microbiology or Public Health.
• Commitment to developing a career in sexual health or related specialties.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and management of sexual health conditions.
• Understanding of contraception, STI testing and treatment protocols.
• Basic audit and research methodology.
