Junior Paraplanner

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Paraplanner to join our growing Independent Financial Advice (IFA) practice in Leeds. You will work closely with two senior planners who manage high‑net‑worth clients, gaining hands‑on experience in financial planning and client interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Support the firm’s planners in preparing cash‑flow models and lifestyle financial plans for clients with assets of £1m+.
• Maintain regular client contact, gathering information and answering queries.
• Assist in drafting suitability reports and conducting research for recommendations.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance and high‑quality advice delivery.

Required profile

• Approximately 12 months of dedicated paraplanning experience, or a current IFA/financial‑planning admin role with exposure to report writing and research.
• Ambitious desire to achieve Level 4 qualification (or higher) and progress within the profession.
• Strong analytical mindset and willingness to learn from experienced planners.

• Competitive salary of £34,000‑£36,000 per year, dependent on experience and exam progress.
