Junior Paraplanner – Route to Adviser (Central London)

About the role

Join a fast‑growing, fully independent financial planning firm that currently manages £200 million of client assets and adds roughly £50 million each year. This junior paraplanner position offers a clear pathway to a client‑facing Financial Adviser role, allowing you to work with high‑net‑worth individuals, including UK‑based US nationals and affluent UK clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial plans covering pensions, investments, protection, inheritance tax and estate planning.
• Support senior advisers with QROPS and cross‑border financial planning projects.
• Maintain and update client portfolios with an average asset size of around £800 k.
• Collaborate with the introducer network (law firms, accountancy practices, tax advisers, FX specialists) to manage referrals.
• Transition to a client‑facing adviser role with full administrative support once qualified.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience as a paraplanner.
• Currently studying for a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning.
• Confident communicator who enjoys building client relationships.
• Ambitious, proactive and seeking a long‑term career in financial advice.
