Junior Sales, Equity Markets

About the role

Join a collaborative Equity Sales team within Macquarie Capital’s global equities platform. You will build relationships with institutional investors across EMEA and connect them to investment opportunities, market insights, and corporate access in Asia‑Pacific equity markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow client relationships across the UK and EMEA, focusing on Asia‑Pacific equity opportunities.
• Combine research insights with economic, political and industry analysis to create sales strategies.
• Collaborate with research analysts, strategists and trading colleagues to deliver investment themes through meetings, presentations and events.
• Facilitate interactions between clients and company management teams to provide valuable engagement.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in equity sales, sales trading, equity research or a related institutional markets role.
• Strong knowledge of Asian equity markets and ability to form investment views.
• Proven relationship‑management and business‑development skills with institutional clients.
• Analytical capability to interpret data and translate insights into commercial opportunities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Bloomberg.
• Advanced Excel skills.
