About the role

Join a friendly, hard‑working team at The Giant Bellflower in Selby as a Kitchen Staff member. No prior experience is required – we provide full training so you can develop the skills needed to succeed in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to specification.
• Operate kitchen workstations such as grills, fryers and microwaves.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and health & safety.
• Rotate stock and store food safely.
• Assist with full kitchen clean‑downs and support the team to meet time and quality targets.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, reliable and friendly attitude.
• Willingness to learn and work under pressure.
• Team‑oriented with a calm head during busy periods.

Required skills

• Operating grills, fryers and microwaves.
• Food hygiene and allergen handling.
• Health and safety compliance.
• Stock rotation and safe food storage.
